What’s included in the tour?

These additional costs are not included in the base price of the tour and remain the responsibility of the client.
How much does it cost?
The price is set in advance based on the itinerary, duration, and any chosen options. I will provide you with a clear quote, and you are free to accept or decline it.
If the tour includes a lunch stop, do I need to pay for the guide’s meal?
Yes. If we go to a restaurant, the guide’s meal is at the client’s expense. Beforehand, I will select a restaurant that suits the itinerary, your budget, and any dietary restrictions you may have. I can also make a reservation to avoid long waits.

Should I bring Japanese yen in cash?
Yes, it’s recommended, as many shops and restaurants in Kamakura do not accept credit cards.
Do you offer an all-inclusive package?
Yes. Upon request, I can provide a detailed quote that includes transportation, entrance fees, and any other costs related to your itinerary. With this all-inclusive option, payable in advance, you can enjoy your visit with peace of mind and without having to take out your wallet at every stop.
How many photos will I receive?
On average, you will receive 20 to 30 edited photos, depending on the length of the tour and the number of participants. All photos are included in the price.
How soon will I receive my photos?
You will receive a private download link within 24 hours after the tour. The files will be in high resolution, ready to share or print.
Which places will we visit?
The itinerary can include iconic sites such as the Great Buddha (Daibutsu), Hase-dera Temple, or more hidden spots like Zeniarai Benzaiten, Hokoku-ji Temple and its famous bamboo forest, or charming backstreets. The program is flexible and can be adapted to your interests and the season.

Yes, Kamakura is a wonderful destination for families! Is it possible to rent a kimono?
Yes, it is possible to rent a traditional Japanese kimono or yukata during your visit with Kamakura Photo Tours. There are traditional clothing rental shops on the famous Komachi-Dori Street in Kamakura. On the day of the tour, I will accompany you to the shop to choose your outfit. This service is not included in the tour. You will pay the rental fee for your kimono directly at the shop.

How long does the tour last?
Most tours last 3 to 5 hours, but shorter or longer itineraries can be arranged depending on your schedule.
Do I need to bring my own camera?
No. The goal is for you to enjoy your visit without worrying about taking pictures. I handle the photography using professional equipment. Of course, you are welcome to take your own photos as well.
Are tours available in French or Japanese?
Yes. Tours are available in French, English, and Japanese.
How can I book a tour?
Simply contact me through the booking form on this website or by email. You will receive a prompt confirmation with all practical details.
Where is the meeting point on the day of the tour?
The meeting place and time are agreed upon when you book. Usually, I meet visitors in front of Kamakura Station or Kita-Kamakura Station, depending on the chosen itinerary.
How will we recognize you?
It’s simple – I’ll be waiting for you outside the station holding a sign with your name on it.
What if we arrive late due to unforeseen circumstances?
No worries – I’m flexible and prefer direct communication. In case of any issue or delay, you can contact me directly on my mobile phone or via WhatsApp.
What if it rains?
In case of bad weather, we can:
- proceed with a covered-route itinerary,
- reschedule for another date,
- or cancel if needed.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can cancel free of charge. Please let me know as soon as possible.
